The HRSS link redirection on the top left has been fixed in my last commit f61a6c42c554a3c387d9c65ce56beedb3ca4195e. Are you sure you updated your instance to this commit?

Invalid URL error accurs only with Apache and mod_wsgi

I have successfully managed to reproduce this issue using Apache2+mod_wsgi and can confirm the issue. However, it is not related to HRSS but to Apache2 which removes duplicate slashes (like in http://) because of the following RFC 1630 :
